What is international transit?
International transit (forwarding) is for shoppers who buy on Chinese platforms themselves and only need Kakobuy to receive and forward the parcel abroad. You ship to Kakobuy's China warehouse address, then submit a transit order.
Purchase service vs. transit
- Purchase service: Kakobuy buys the item for you, receives it and then ships it home.
- International transit: You buy and pay the seller yourself, send it to the warehouse, and Kakobuy forwards it onward.
How to use transit
- Get your dedicated Kakobuy warehouse address from your account.
- Use that address as the shipping destination when you check out on the Chinese platform.
- Submit a transit order with the tracking number and item details so the warehouse can match your parcel.
Parcel arrived but not pre-declared?
If your package reaches the warehouse before you created a transit order, submit the transit and item information afterwards so staff can identify and shelve it. Whether transit parcels and purchase orders can be consolidated into one shipment depends on platform rules and warehouse operations.
