Our logistics partners have informed us that the European Union will officially implement a new customs policy starting July 1, 2026.
Under the new policy, the current duty exemption for parcels valued below €150 will be removed. Customs charges may apply to parcels entering the EU from this date onward.
📌 New EU Customs Policy
For parcels entering the EU on or after July 1, 2026, customs authorities may calculate duties based on product categories:
💶 Each different product category may be charged a fixed customs duty of €3
👕 Multiple items within the same category are generally charged only once
📦 If one parcel contains multiple different categories, the total customs duty may increase based on the number of categories
Example Under the New Policy
Parcel containing only T-shirts → 1 category → Customs duty: €3
Parcel containing T-shirts and shoes → 2 categories → Customs duty: €6
Parcel containing T-shirts, shoes, bags, and accessories → 4 categories → Customs duty: €12
🎁 Kakobuy Support: Only €3 Per Parcel
To reduce the impact of this new policy, Kakobuy will charge only €3 per parcel — regardless of how many product categories are inside.
💙 You Pay by Parcel, Not by Category
📦 1 parcel with 1 category → You pay €3
📦 1 parcel with 2 categories → You still pay €3
📦 1 parcel with 5 or more categories → You still pay only €3
Any additional customs-related costs caused by multiple product categories will be covered by Kakobuy.
🚚 No Extra Customs Payment Needed
The €3 fee will be included directly in your shipping cost when you submit your parcel.
You do not need to pay customs duties separately or handle any additional customs payment process yourself.
