Buying Jackets Through Kakobuy: What to Confirm Before You Approve

For jackets, the two things that decide whether you keep the parcel are fabric weight and the fit across your shoulders and chest, not the size letter on the tag. Before you approve the QC photos, pull the listing's own measurement chart and compare it against a jacket you already own that fits the way you want.

Outerwear hides more problems than a tee, so it rewards a careful look. When Kakobuy uploads the QC set for your order, zoom in and work through the details that a factory tends to rush.

• Zippers and pulls. Run the QC photos of the main zip open and closed. Look for a branded slider if the original has one, smooth teeth, and a storm flap that actually covers the zip. Zippers are the first thing to fail on a rep jacket.
• Stitching and seams. Check the shoulder seams, cuffs, and hem for straight, even stitching. Loose threads are normal and trimmable; skipped or wavy seams are not.
• Fill and loft. For puffers and down styles, ask whether the panels look evenly filled. Flat or lumpy baffles show up clearly in photos and won't recover.
• Hardware and logos. Snaps, drawcord toggles, embroidered patches, and woven labels should sit straight and match the reference images from the listing.
• Lining and tags. Confirm the interior lining, care label, and any inner pockets match what the batch is supposed to have.

Fabric weight matters more with jackets than almost any other category. A "heavyweight" nylon or wool that photographs thin usually feels cheap in hand, so if the listing describes a specific weight or material, it's worth asking the Kakobuy agent to confirm what arrived at the warehouse.

One practical advantage for jacket buyers: because Kakobuy offers long free storage, you don't have to rush the shipment. If you're building a cold-weather order, let jackets sit in the warehouse and consolidate them with hoodies, headwear, or boots into one box. Heavier garments drive volumetric weight up fast, so combining and choosing a slower line often saves more than any single discount.

If something in the QC looks off, use the photos to raise it before approving rather than after the jacket has already shipped.
